US National 12K 2014

So cold, in the 30’s for the whole race.  Evil course with a hill at the beginning and end.  Just squeaked the 12K (7.5 miles) in under an hour.

Then i went home and ran another 5.6 miles in 59 minutes.  The worst half-marathon split ever, 59 minutes for the first 7.5 (7:56 pace) and 59 for the back 5.6 (10:30 pace) run about 2 hours later.

Captured Runs

I’ve started to gather the maps for runs when i travel.  I travel for work and take advantage of certain places to motivate me to run.  As a way to capture that motivation i save the map trail for key runs.  The above is for Vancouver–which is an amazing place to go for a run, especially Stanley Park at the the top of this map.  Take a look at some of the other cool places!  , click on the Running Tumblr from the links page, or go directly there ->
